LIFE SIRIUS Tools for Air Quality: A Successful Local Seminar in Rome

The LIFE SIRIUS project marked an important milestone with its local seminar on “Air Quality in Urban Context – LIFE SIRIUS Tools for Pollution Mitigation Measures” held at ARPA Lazio headquarters on December 12, 2024.

The hybrid event successfully gathered 23 participants, including environmental agencies, research institutions, and civic organizations, with 10 attending in person and 13 joining online. This format ensured broad participation from diverse stakeholders.

The seminar showcased key project developments, particularly the Environmental Management System (EMS) and the joint health-environment alert system. These innovative tools, designed to support Air Quality Plans’ implementation, generated engaging discussions among participants1

The event demonstrated the project’s commitment to knowledge sharing and capacity building for regional authorities and policymakers. Participants are now invited to attend the final conference, scheduled for May 29, 2025, at the CNR headquarters in Rome.
